About Tanzeem

Tanzeem Investment Cooperative Ltd. (TIC or Tanzeem) is a saving, investment and empowerment centered cooperative society. It operates based on the principles of Islamic finance. It is an interest free, non-loan, progressive cooperative.

Using an innovative, creative, participatory, and equity-based model, Tanzeem replaces cash loans with asset backed financing, interest with profit, and consumption with investment. Tanzeem helps members to build strong investable savings such that members can receive huge dividends that would replace the need for them to go for loans.

Membership Requirements

1. Form, N500 (non-refundable)
2. Registration fee, N3000
3. Subscription of a minimum of 200 shares @ N100 each, payable in 5 monthly installments (i.e. at least N4000 per month) but preferably a lump sum payment
4. A monthly saving of at least 10% of regular income. Minimum is N3000 (since minimum wage is N30,000). One must return the form with one passport photograph.
5. Monthly payment of N200 admin charges
